Volkswagen Group Info Services AG welcomes Samsara as a new partner for Fleet Interface Data. Samsara connects vehicles, people and operational systems through its Connected Operations® Platform. The integration brings OEM vehicle data from six Volkswagen Group brands directly into the Samsara Platform.
The data comes directly from the vehicles' built-in telematics. Fleet operators get secure, near real-time access to mileage, fuel consumption, EV battery status and maintenance alerts. This supports preventive maintenance, asset security and EV insights across mixed-brand fleets. Fleet operators reduce downtime and manage their vehicles more efficiently and sustainably.
“We are delighted about our partnership with Samsara to provide innovative, data-driven mobility solutions for fleet operators in Europe,” says Lasse Schmidt van Hülst, Head of Sales and Product Marketing at Volkswagen Group Info Services AG. “By combining the advanced vehicle data of the Volkswagen Group with the solutions of Samsara, we enable optimized efficiency, safety, and sustainability.”
Together, Volkswagen Group Info Services AG and Samsara make fleet operations safer and more efficient. This applies to vehicles from Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Audi, SEAT, CUPRA and ŠKODA.
Volkswagen Group Info Services AG is the central data interface of the Volkswagen Group.
