This means you're in control of deciding how your data is used, who can access it, and under which terms. We're here to make it simple, secure, and fair for you.
User types
How to identify
There are different types of users with unique rights and responsibilities. Whether you’re a private customer enjoying your vehicle or a business managing a fleet, your role determines how you can access and manage data.
Business user
A business user is a company or entity that owns a connected vehicle, has a transferred contractural right or receives a related service for the use of the vehicle.
Your rights & options:
Access comprehensive vehicle data: Obtain vehicle or service generated data of your vehicle(s)
Share data securely: Facilitate controlled data exchange with partners and service providers
Third Party
A third party is a company or entity, such as an insurance company, a service provider, or any other company / entity that is granted access to generated data upon user request.
Your rights & options:
Request data access: Obtain data necessary for your product or service delivery (e.g. personalised insurance tariffs)
Government officials
Government officials include regulatory authorities and public institutions that may request access to data in cases of exceptional need.

Request data under exceptional circumstances: Access specific data for public safety, emergencies, or regulatory purposes
Ensure public interest & security: Utilize data responsibly for public benefit
Private user
A private user is a natural person who owns a connected vehicle, has a transferred contractural right or receives a related service for the use of the vehicle.
Your rights & options:
Request your data: Obtain a copy of your historical data
Customize data access: Select specific data points to access or share
Authorize third-party access: Grant permission for third-party services
Manage consent: Review and modify permissions via your "Brand" ID portal
